Terms and Conditions

General Terms

  1. All daycare and training dogs must be fully vaccinated with a current C5 vaccination (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, and Bordetella). Proof of vaccination is required.

  2. Dogs displaying symptoms of illness (e.g., vomiting, coughing, lethargy) must not attend daycare, grooming, or training.

  3. If my dog becomes unwell or injured and I cannot be contacted, I authorise Pawfect Paws staff to seek veterinary attention from their preferred veterinarian. A $15 transportation fee applies. I agree to pay all associated veterinary costs upon collection.

  • Unless otherwise authorised, treatment expenses are capped at $500.

If my dog arrives with fleas or ticks, Pawfect Paws will administer appropriate treatment and associated costs will be added to my account.

I will notify Pawfect Paws of any pre-existing health conditions, allergies, or behavioural issues.

I acknowledge that daycare, grooming, and training activities involve inherent risks, including minor injuries that may occur during play or handling.

I expressly waive and release all claims against Pawfect Paws, its employees, and representatives, except those arising from negligence.

Pawfect Paws is not responsible for damage to personal property belonging to me or others caused by my dog.

I will advise Pawfect Paws if my dog has recently shown aggression toward people or other dogs.

If my dog displays aggressive or unsafe behaviour, I agree to collect my dog immediately upon request.

I accept full responsibility for any medical costs or property damage resulting from my dog’s behaviour.

Payment

  1. Operating hours:

  • Daycare: 6:30am–6:30pm Monday to Friday

  • Grooming: 8:30am–5:00pm Monday to Saturday

  • Training: As advised

Payment policy:

  • Daycare and training are payable in advance.

  • Grooming is payable upon collection- deposits are payable on all grooming bookings

Pawfect Paws is authorised to charge any outstanding balance to the credit card on file if payment is not made by checkout time on the booking day.

Unpaid balances older than 60 days may be referred to collections, with the customer responsible for any recovery and legal costs incurred.

Pawfect Paws reserves the right to refuse service at any time.

Additional grooming fees may apply for matting, medicated shampoos or other special circumstances.

Daycare

  1. All dogs over 12 months of age must be desexed.

  2. Pawfect Paws will take all reasonable care to ensure the safety and wellbeing of pets but is not responsible for illness, loss, escape, or injury.

  3. Photos and videos taken by Pawfect Paws are its intellectual property and may be used for marketing or promotional purposes.

  4. The client confirms they are the legal owner of the dog, free of any liens or encumbrances.

  5. All dogs must arrive and depart on a leash or carried.

  6. I understand my dog may become wet, muddy, or dirty during play. A post-daycare bath can be arranged at an additional cost.

  7. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel a daycare booking; otherwise, the full daycare fee may apply.

  8. Dogs must be collected by 6:30pm. A $30 + GST fee applies for every 30 minutes after closing.

Grooming

  1. Dogs requiring two groomers will be charged 1.5 times the standard grooming fee.

  2. Grooming services may be pre-paid or paid upon pick-up- deposits are required for all grooming bookings

  3. Taxi services are available at an additional cost and operate twice daily (morning and afternoon).

  4. All medical conditions or behavioural concerns must be disclosed to the grooming team before the appointment.

  5. All dogs must arrive and leave on a leash or carried.

  6. Cancellations and no-shows:

  • If less than 24 hours’ notice is given to cancel a grooming booking, the deposit will be forfeited.

  • No-shows (failure to attend without notice) will be charged the full grooming fee, which will be invoiced or deducted from the card on file.

Clients arriving more than 30 minutes late for their appointment may forfeit their booking, and a $1 per minute late fee will apply beyond the 30-minute grace period.

Dogs that are uncooperative or exhibit difficult behaviour may incur a higher fee to allow additional time and staff to safely manage and train the dog for grooming.

Pawfect Paws reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services at any time for the safety and wellbeing of all dogs and staff.

Training

  1. All training advice provided by Pawfect Paws is of a general nature and given with the best intentions.

  2. Results may vary depending on individual dogs, consistency of training, and owner participation.

  3. Pawfect Paws is not responsible for behavioural outcomes that occur outside of the training environment.
